Thermal and airflow engineering for industrial enclosures
We measure, model, and correct the physical behavior of air inside server racks and control cabinets. No software fixes, no retail hardware — just applied thermodynamics.
Infrared thermal mapping
We scan each rack face and identify hot spots caused by recirculation, missing blanking panels, or obstructed exhaust paths. The output is a per-U temperature profile you can act on immediately.
Typical result: peak intake temperature reduced by 8–12°C after corrections.
Fan vibration auditing
We attach accelerometers to fan housings and measure displacement, velocity, and acceleration across the rotational spectrum. Bearing wear and imbalance show up before they cause downtime.
Recent audit caught bearing degradation 3 weeks before predicted failure.
Static pressure balancing
We measure pressure differentials between cabinet zones and recalibrate fan curves, baffles, and blanking plates to equalize airflow across mixed server configurations.
One mixed rack went from 15 Pa top-to-bottom variance down to 3 Pa.
Airflow modeling
We build a physical model of your enclosure layout — cable paths, blanking panels, fan positions, and vent placement — to predict where air will short-circuit or stall.
Model validation against real measurements within 5% accuracy.
Chassis calibration
We verify that each chassis draws air from the cold aisle and exhausts to the hot aisle as designed. Misaligned fans or blocked intake grilles get flagged and corrected.
Calibration includes intake temperature logging at 1-minute intervals.
Thermal profiling reports
You receive a documented baseline of your cabinet conditions: temperature maps, vibration spectra, pressure readings, and a prioritized list of physical corrections.
Reports are structured for maintenance teams, not lab researchers.
